Ever-buzzing act, Dee Xclsv is the latest act to team up with global label, Universal Music. The imprint took to to social media platform, Twitter, to welcome the wordsmith and lyricist.
“Welcome to the UMG family, D.EE.” UMG Tweeted along a video of the rapper arriving at the establishment.
Dee Xclsv follows but in a different footstep of fellow Punchline Music sensation, Manu Worldstar who recently signed a licensing deal with Sony Music.
This latest signature continues a massive sweep of South African artists by Universal Music having snapped up such acts in recent times including Nasty C, Tellaman, HHP, L-Tido and several others.
It is no surprise Dee Xclsv appeared in the radars of Universal Music with all the strides he’s been making on the circuit lately.
Many industry-watchers will readily remember his flagship monster hit single, “Flex Life,” which featured industry heavyweight and royal, Kwesta Dakar.
